So yesterday I accompanied my friend and her kids to the pool. Now I put on sunscreen before I went, the spray kind, to make sure I didn't miss any spots. But apparently that did not work out for me as I have these nice streaks on my shoulders and back. After an hour or so at the pool I did not appear red. But several hours later I am, and slightly sore. But at least I'll have a little tan, even if it will be goofy looking. And so my faith in sunscreen is diminishing. Even so I got some good advice from my mom: white vinegar takes the sting away. And boy does it, it feels much better. Consequently, I now smell like vinegar.
Also this is a great time to wish you all a Happy 3rd of July! And I do hope there are no old ladies screaming at you to "Get off my wall!"
Noni Fun Fact: I want to go whale watching, whales are my favorite animal.
