a blog at 4 in the am, this could be interesting

Some of you may be wondering why in the world would Noni be up at 4 am. You know I don't stay up this late, nor do I get up this early. Well if you saw my earlier facebook post you would have a good guess. There is currently a mouse terrorizing my house.

Now I have been through this sort of an ordeal before, and let's just say I am much more calm this time around. Last night upon confirmation of a mouse we emptied the pantry, set everything on the table and the island, and threw some stuff away. I have two mouse traps set, the no touch no view kind of course. And so went to bed not worried at all.

Well about an hour ago I heard some scratching, now this is odd because I am a sound sleeper. But I wasn't worried because I knew the traps were set. Well the noise got closer and so I turned on the light to access the situation. Upon finding a bag of oatmeal in the corner I threw it away and moved the trap to that point and attempted to go back to sleep. As you can tell this was unsuccessful, because I couldn't go back to sleep knowing it was in my room. So I went to the living room, which is farther from the food than my room, kinda. And I just thought I'd sleep a few more hours out here. And then I heard the mouse again. (I must interject here that I think I'll name it so I don't have to keep typing the word mouse. We'll it Ted.) So anyways I heard Ted again, and found it on the table. How did Ted get on the table? So Ted jumped onto one of the stools and was circling it. My genius plans was to grab the stool and fling Ted outside, but not without putting on some gloves first. Well as I'm about to grab the stool Ted jumps to the floor and scurries to my room. You can bet at this point I ain't going back to sleep, especially in there. So once again I strategically reposition the traps, and here I sit blogging, hoping this all comes to an end quickly, but not counting on it.

Also this was not proof read, so forgive my typos and poor gramar, after all I should be sleeping right now.

Noni Fun Fact: I'm a lot of fun at 4 in the morning.
