red and blue

So here I am thinking I would go to bed early because I was up late the last two nights. Wrong. It seems like this happens everytime, I feel tired, but my body is definitely not going to sleep anytime soon. So lucky you, my reader, I will blog instead.

I went to Lawrence on Friday night to see one of my friends play in his band. Now I'm not very musically inclined, but I was impressed. I mean anyone who can play the trumpet and keyboard at the same time is pretty awesome. Royal played some pretty sweet tunes. Anyways, I found it so refreshing to be surrounded by red and blue, now those are my colors. I always enjoy being in Lawrence, it's a fun town, but I am also always glad to go home. I don't think it's a place I could live, at least not right now, even though I am a KU fan.

Noni Fun Fact: I like to cook, today I made some cookies that taste like a Reese's. So good and simple to make. Thank you Rachel Ray!
